Our founder, Mark Skoglund, saw firsthand how complex and frustrating the CCW process could be, both for applicants and law-enforcement staff. With a distinguished background in law enforcement, military service, and a passion for community safety, CCW Solutions Group was launched to provide expert guidance, accurate information, and practical support every step of the way.
Mark Skoglund is a nationally recognized leader in the concealed carry (CCW) space, known for building one of the most efficient and effective CCW units in California. Before entering law enforcement, Mark served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, including active duty during Operation Desert Shield. His military career, where he oversaw daily operations and training for over 800 Marines, instilled in him a relentless commitment to discipline, leadership, and mission readiness.
As the former CCW Coordinator for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Mark was entrusted with full oversight of Sheriff Chad Bianco’s high-profile CCW program, one of the most robust in California. He was honored with the Medal of Merit for exceptional leadership and results, managing a team of 23 employees, a $2.2 million annual budget, and generating over $1.3 million in revenue. Mark’s data-driven approach reduced application processing times from 14 months to just 4 weeks, dramatically increasing permit issuance and public satisfaction.
